Campfire Pizza Sandwiches 🍕🔥
Looking for an easy camping meal the whole family will love? Campfire Pizza Sandwiches combine the flavors of your favorite pizza with the simplicity of a grilled sandwich. They’re quick to make, customizable with your favorite toppings, and perfect for cooking over the campfire after a day of outdoor adventures.
Ingredients:
- 8 slices of bread
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–24 pepperoni slices
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- Optional toppings: sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, olives
Directions:
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- On the unbuttered side, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce.
- Add mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and any desired toppings.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter side facing out.
- Wrap each sandwich tightly in aluminum foil.
- Place over a campfire grate or on hot coals for 5–8 minutes per side, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Carefully unwrap and enjoy!
